A10 Can't Stay Injunction In Brocade IP Case During Appeal

Law360, New York (February 15, 2013, 5:00 PM EST) -- A California federal judge refused Tuesday to stay an injunction on A10 Networks Inc. networking equipment found to infringe Brocade Communications Systems Inc. patents, but as A10 appealed the ruling Thursday, the company said the injunction will have no effect because it has redesigned its products.

A jury ruled in August that A10 had infringed Brocade's patents and stolen its trade secrets, and U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul S. Grewal imposed a permanent injunction in January on the devices found to infringe. A10 asked that the injunction...
