By Adam Rhodes (December 6, 2018, 7:03 PM EST) -- Warren Buffett-backed Chinese manufacturing company BYD Co Ltd. is planning on taking its battery unit public by 2022, Bloomberg reported early Thursday. According to the report, the listing will come before 2022 ends. The report details, however, that the manufacturer, which makes cars, trucks and forklifts, among other things, hasn't decided where it will be listing the unit. Citing an interview with Chairman Wang Chuanfu, the outlet reported that BYD is currently working to spin off its vehicle battery operations before listing the unit....
