Minn. County Treasurer Sues Fannie, Freddie Over Unpaid Taxes

Law360, New York (July 5, 2012, 5:13 PM EDT) -- A Minnesota county treasurer hit the agencies overseeing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with a putative class action in federal court on Tuesday in an effort to collect at least $75,000 in unpaid excise taxes from which the housing giants allegedly claimed they were exempt.
