South African law firm blocked from using 'Singh and Singh' trademark in India, high court rules

The Delhi High Court has barred the South African law firm, Singh and Singh Attorneys, from using their name or any confusingly similar mark in India because it could potentially mislead clients. Ruling in favor of an Indian law firm, the court said that the South African law firm's use of the "Singh and Singh" trademark was a clear violation of intellectual property rights.
