Citigroup, HSBC, RBC, Morgan Stanley agree to pay $12 million to get out of US antitrust case over UK government bonds

( January 22, 2025, 23:31 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Citigroup, HSBC, RBC, and Morgan Stanley agreed to pay $12 million to settle US allegations that they conspired to manipulate the price of British pound sterling-denominated UK government bonds. In addition, they agreed to provide plaintiffs with critically important and timely cooperation materials to strengthen the allegations in an amended complaint against the non-settling bank, Deutsche Bank.
