Tamarind Health’s acquisition of TalkMed cleared by Singapore

( June 27, 2025, 09:54 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Singapore’s Competition and Consumer Commission, or CCCS, has approved Tamarind Health’s proposed acquisition of TalkMed Group, concluding that the deal is unlikely to substantially lessen competition in the private medical oncology market. The CCCS began its review in January this year, including public consultation with competitors and insurers. The regulator found that alternative oncology providers and the role of insurers in shaping patient choices would constrain any increase in market power arising from the transaction.The full statement is attached....
