Sberbank appeals Single Resolution Board’s no-rescue decision to EU's top court

The EU’s lower General Court had upheld the SRB’s 2022 decision not to rescue Russian-owned Sberbank Europe when it collapsed following EU sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine. In its appeal to the EU Court of Justice, filed on Aug. 28, MeSoFa claims the SRB lacked legal authority for that decision and violated its procedural rights.Document attached.
