South Korean job portal Incruit fined for massive data breach

( October 23, 2025, 05:27 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: South Korean job portal Incruit has been fined 463 million won ($322,000) by the country's privacy regulator for a massive data breach that compromised the personal data of all 7.3 million users. The Personal Information Protection Commission also ordered the company to appoint a new chief privacy officer with relevant expertise and to provide support measures for affected users.
