Regulation litigation - Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America - FTC

Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America has filed a complaint against the US Federal Trade Commission challenging an FTC rule requiring pharmaceutical companies to report licensing transactions in which the licensor retains the right to manufacture or other significant co-rights. PhRMA argues that the FTC lacks statutory authority and articulated no reason to target a single industry or group of industries with such requirements.
