Financial Crime - CaaStle founder Christine Hunsicker - fraud (US)
Christine Hunsicker, founder of the fashion technology firm CaaStle, was charged with wire fraud, securities fraud, money laundering, making false statements to a financial institution and aggravated identity theft stemming from an alleged scheme by the defendant to defraud investors in the business and a related venture out of more than $300 million through false statements, misleading claims and fabricated documents. Hunsicker was also sued by the US Securities and Exchange Commission on similar allegations.
