GTCR-Surmodics divestiture to be evaluated by FTC by Aug. 15, US court told

( August 12, 2025, 10:55 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: GTCR, Surmodics, the US Federal Trade Commission and the states of Illinois and Minnesota filed a joint proposed pre-hearing order to an Illinois federal judge in litigation seeking to block the companies' proposed deal. The government, which is reviewing the companies' proposed divestiture, will provide a final position on the divestiture no later than Aug. 15, when the parties will file the joint status report regarding settlement.See attached file....
