Apollo Hospitals restructuring gets Indian watchdog's clearance

( September 24, 2025, 07:40 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A multi-layered restructuring plan for the Apollo Hospitals group has received merger clearance from the Indian antitrust watchdog, paving the way for the separate listing of its omnichannel pharmacy and digital health businesses. The comprehensive plan involves the demerger of Apollo Health Enterprise into a new subsidiary, Apollo Healthtech. This will be followed by the merger of Apollo Healthco and Keimed into Apollo Healthtech, thereby consolidating the healthcare and distribution businesses, according to a statement issued by the Competition Commission of India.
