US environment agency’s planned vehicle emissions reversal risks court showdown

If the EPA follows through, the industry would no longer need to measure, control, or report its emissions. But that decision is expected to face legal challenges and could reach the US Supreme Court.The US automotive sector could see greenhouse gas restrictions disappear if the federal Environmental Protection Agency reverses its conclusion that vehicle emissions endanger public health and welfare....
