Tornado Cash co-founder may seek retrial in US cryptocurrency case

( August 11, 2025, 21:39 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: In a filing on post-trial scheduling matters for Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm, prosecutors said the defense has told the government it intends to file motions that "could affect the scope of a retrial" on the  counts on which the jury couldn't reach a unanimous verdict, and "may also seek a retrial" on the count on which he was found guilty. The judge subsequently adopted the schedule proposed by the parties and scheduled a hearing on the matter in December. Document attached....
