( August 13, 2025, 03:08 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: Two Estonian nationals were sentenced to time served for orchestrating a cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme that defrauded hundreds of thousands of victims worldwide, including in the US, the US Department of Justice said. The men have already served 16 months in custody; in addition to the custodial term, they were ordered to pay a $25,000 fine and complete 360 hours of community service while on supervised release.
