EU financial sector sees new technical standards on market abuse published

( August 20, 2025, 08:34 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: New EU technical standards on market abuse are due to come into force in 20 days after being published in the Official Journal of the European Union today. The rules supplement a 2023 EU regulation on markets in crypto-assets with provisions specifying the procedures to prevent, detect and report market abuse, templates to be used for reporting suspected market abuse, and procedures for coordination between relevant authorities for the detection and sanctioning of market abuse in cross-border situations.  See attached text and link to the Official Journal of the European Union....
