Deloitte fined £6m over audit issues at transport operator Go Ahead in 2016-2020

The FRC said the auditor failed to apply "professional scepticism" about overpayments Go Ahead received from the UK government's Department of Transport, or DfT. "Deloitte failed to appreciate that the company was under a contractual obligation to act in good faith and...bring the overpayments to the DfT’s attention", the FRC said.
