Neil Woodford, fund fined GBP46 million for 'unreasonable' investment decisions

The Woodford Equity Income fund closed in 2019 after its value plummeted from over 10 billion pounds to 3.6 billion pounds. Woodford, who has also been banned from holding senior roles in financial services, had a “defective and unreasonably narrow understanding of his responsibilities,” the Financial Conduct Authority said today.
