UPC affirms urgent evidence orders, sets standard for unannounced inspections

Evidence preservation orders against Maguin and Valinea will stand, they ruled today in a dispute brought by Tiru. Judges found sufficient urgency and risk of losing evidence to justify unannounced inspections and seizures previously ordered.Maguin, a French maker of industrial equipment, has lost its appeal regarding an evidence preservation order in its dispute at the Unified Patent Court with construction company Tiru over an allegedly infringing waste furnace....
