Orikan-Duncan Technologies deal scrapped, ending Australian regulatory review

( May 9, 2025, 04:32 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: A regulatory review of parking-solutions provider Orikan Group’s attempt to acquire Duncan Technologies has ended, after the merger parties told Australia’s antitrust watchdog that the deal had been scrapped. In an entry on its website, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said that it had “discontinued its public review after Orikan advised that the proposed acquisition would not be proceeding.” The regulator’s review of the deal began in September 2024 and had been repeatedly suspended as the watchdog requested additional information from the companies.
