Schlumberger-ChampionX global tie-up receives Australian clearance

In an entry on its website, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission said it had considered whether the vertical integration would provide the merged company with the ability and incentive to foreclose downstream rivals in the supply of oilfield services.
