In Bimbo-Wickbold deal, Federal Prosecutors recommend investigation into Pandurata's ‘transmission failure’

By Maria Júlia Baumert ( August 6, 2025, 22:35 GMT | Insight) -- The Federal Specialized Prosecutor’s Office at CADE responded to a request from Commissioner Camila Cabral Pires Alves regarding the deal review involving Grupo Bimbo acquiring Wickbold, recommending the IT Coordination (CGTI) be asked to determine whether the failure to transmit Pandurata’s request for third-party status via e-mail was due to the authority or Pandurata — and the disqualification of the company for that status if a ‘transmission failure’ is attributed to them.
