UK government falls behind on cybersecurity, parliamentary committee says

The committee said the Cabinet Office — which leads the national cybersecurity strategy — has failed to provide departments with clear guidance or sufficient support. It urged a new approach to meet the government's goal of making the wider public sector resilient to cyber threats by 2030, as the UK prepares to publish a new cybersecurity reform bill in the next few months.Statement follows.
