PornHub to comply with age checks under UK online safety rules

( June 26, 2025, 10:09 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: PornHub, the UK's most-visited adult video-sharing platform, has agreed to introduce age checks aligned with the Online Safety Act from next month, media regulator Ofcom said today. Along with PornHub, 12 other providers have confirmed they will introduce effective age assurance by next month’s deadline and have agreed to be named at this stage. The Children's Codes, which the watchdog can enforce from July 25, determine that all sites and apps that allow pornography must use highly effective age checks to keep children from viewing harmful content.Statement follows....
