UK's new online porn age-check rules raise question of enforcement priorities

Fears that some platforms could be delaying obligations until digital ID solutions are more widespread, and that social media sites are escaping attention as a gateway to porn for children, are adding to an enforcement headache for regulator Ofcom. Since pornography streaming platforms were mandated by UK regulators a month ago to put age-verification measures in place, early data has suggested that major websites such as Pornhub have lost visitors while a long tail of smaller — and potentially riskier — websites appear to be gaining traffic....
