US Commerce initially says Chinese, Vietnamese molded fiber imports dumped

( May 9, 2025, 13:49 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: The US Commerce Department preliminarily found Chinese and Vietnamese imports of thermoformed molded fiber products, such as plates and trays, were dumped in an investigation spanning from April 1, 2024, through Sept. 30, 2024. Commerce assigned initial dumping rates of 3.86 percent for three Vietnamese companies and a wide rate of 260.56 percent for all Vietnam producers. Commerce gave initial dumping rates of up to 470 percent for dozens of Chinese producers and a China-wide rate of 477.97 percent.Public inspection notices in the Federal Register is attached....
