China's trade rises 6 percent in Q3 as trade with the US drops sharply

( October 13, 2025, 06:00 GMT | Official Statement) -- MLex Summary: China's imports and exports rose 6 percent in the third quarter of 2025, with total trade in September reaching $567 billion, according to data released Monday by the General Administration of Customs. Trade with the US fell 15.6 percent year-on-year in September to $45.79 billion, as exports dropped 16.9 percent to $34.31 billion and imports declined 11.6 percent to $11.48 billion. In addition, trade with ASEAN, China's largest trading partner, climbed 9.6 percent to 5.57 trillion yuan, accounting for 16.6 percent of China’s total foreign trade.The data tables are attached....
