EU lawmakers push to confine sustainability reporting rules to large companies (update*)

The document amending the EU executive’s proposal raised the threshold for regulated firms to those with more than 1,000 employees and net annual revenue above €450 million under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, and to more than 5,000 employees and revenue of €1.5 billion under the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive.
