Dick's To Pay Up To $10M To End Asst. Managers' OT Suits

Law360, New York (December 9, 2015, 12:31 PM EST) -- Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. has agreed to pay up to $10 million to settle a conditionally certified collective action and proposed class actions in which assistant managers accused it of stiffing them on overtime pay, according to a Wednesday filing in Massachusetts federal court.

The parties said in a memorandum supporting their joint motion for approval of the deal that it would provide a fair recovery for about 2,200 assistant managers who Dick's allegedly misclassified as exempt from overtime, as well as proposed classes who alleged...
