Alsup Says Davis Wright Attys For Spotify Misled Him

Law360, San Francisco (July 13, 2017, 7:39 PM EDT) -- U.S. District Judge William Alsup said at a hearing on Thursday that Spotify’s attorneys from Davis Wright Tremaine LLP misled him in their bid to end a putative class action over auto-renewals, saying that the lawyers tricked him into believing the lead plaintiff had “admitted the case away” in his deposition when he hadn’t.
