BOE Launches Fintech Forum To Boost Innovation

Law360, London (March 17, 2017, 5:31 PM GMT) -- The Bank of England said Friday it has launched a community forum comprising financial technology firms, trade bodies and regulators as part of a program to better understand and support the innovations of the fintech sector.

The central bank’s FinTech Accelerator division has appointed 18 members to make up the network, including U.K. regulator the Financial Conduct Authority; trade bodies the British Bankers Association and Innovate Finance; and technology companies BT, Privitar and NEX Euclid Opportunities.
