    'Paramour Preference' Not Illegal Under Title VII, 9th Circ. Says

    An obstetric lab supervisor accused of giving favorable treatment to a female subordinate he was dating did not break federal sex discrimination laws, the Ninth Circuit ruled Friday, saying "paramour preference" is not unlawful under Title VII.
