A California federal judge has halted implementation of a state law that could punish medical professionals for disseminating misinformation about COVID-19 to patients, giving a temporary win to two lawsuits that challenged the law, including one set of plaintiffs represented by Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

A California physician represented by attorney and anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. urged a federal court to block a Golden State law that would deem as unprofessional the dissemination of COVID-19 misinformation by medical workers, arguing that the law is unconstitutionally vague.
