A federal judge tossed a challenge to Michigan's voter-approved constitutional right to an abortion on Tuesday because abortion opponents had not shown they were personally harmed by the amendment.

Anti-abortion groups sued to block enforcement of a voter-approved amendment enshrining abortion rights in the Michigan Constitution, contending the ballot measure illegally restricts the legislative branch of government and infringes on the rights of doctors, parents and "preborn babies."
