A Washington federal court, instructed by the Ninth Circuit to review its decision, again said a deed of trust was a fraudulent transfer meant to delay collection of a former attorney's $3.9 million tax debt.

A Washington federal court has determined that a federal tax lien against a former lawyer's property takes priority over his father's 2005 deed of trust and a related promissory note on that property because the deed was a fraudulent attempt by the son to hinder the government's collection of almost $4 million in tax debt.
