The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to take up an attorney fee dispute that a group of Chinese real estate investors lodged in a suit against a condominium developer they accused of defaulting on an $82.5 million loan.

A group of Asian investors asked the U.S. Supreme Court to review a Tenth Circuit decision that refused in October 2022 to reconsider a Colorado real estate developer's $244,020 attorney fees award issued against them, arguing that the Tenth Circuit "did nothing" when it came to reviewing the award.
