Conn. Gov. Suspends Plastic Bag Tax During Coronavirus Crisis

Connecticut's tax on single-use plastic bags has been temporarily suspended by the governor in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The executive order issued by Gov. Ned Lamont
on Thursday evening imposes a temporary suspension of the 10-cent tax on single-use checkout bags through May 15, according to the order.
