Ind. Extends Property Tax Break Claims Date Amid Coronavirus

Indiana has extended the due date for property tax exemption claims from April 1 to June 30 under an executive order signed by the governor as relief for the economic impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

In an order issued March 26, Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb delayed the application deadline for submitting exemption applications to offset the effects of the new coronavirus and the state's declared public health emergency.
