Led Zeppelin To Pay Dearly If Jury Isn't Buying A 'Stairway To Heaven' Defense

Legend has it that Jimmy Page started writing “Stairway To Heaven” in the remote Welsh cottage of Bron Yr Aur, long a place of pilgrimage for Led Zeppelin fans. Now, facing a copyright trial alleging it stole the iconic song, the band is changing its tune about its inspiration. But if the jury doesn’t buy the new version of events, the damage won’t just be felt in royalties.
