A Maryland federal judge dismissed on Friday a health care chaplain's lawsuit accusing the University of Maryland Medical System of stealing his plan to improve spiritual care for patients at one of its hospitals but decided to let the chaplain replead his case despite harboring "serious doubts" of its success.
