Allstate Insurance Co. told the Florida Supreme Court a federal district court rewrote Florida's personal injury statute when it ruled the insurer had to pay 100% of a chiropractic provider's bills, urging the high court to correct the error.

Allstate Insurance Co. wants the Florida Supreme Court to decide whether auto insurers are required to reimburse health clinics for what they actually billed, or for the maximum possible costs for care, according to a filing in the Eleventh Circuit on Wednesday.
