Admiral Insurance Co. has settled a suit seeking to back out of defending a CBD company in litigation concerning allegations that a woman had to have her legs amputated after using a vape that was made, marketed or distributed by the cannabis company.

Admiral Insurance Co. has asked a Florida federal court for a judgment declaring that it is not on the hook for a product liability suit filed against a company that makes and distributes CBD products, arguing that the claims are barred by the insurance policy at issue.
