    Manufacturer Must Face Insurer's Suit Over Faulty Trimmer

    A North Carolina federal judge won't let manufacturer Stihl Inc. out of a suit by an insurance company alleging one of its hedge trimmers caught fire and damaged a policyholder's home, saying the allegations that the trimmer's battery caught fire during normal, expected use are enough to allege the tool was defective.
