Verizon Asks FCC To Bar Blocking Of Sports Channels

Law360, New York (May 28, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Citing a federal appeals court's backing of a ban on exclusivity agreements between cable companies and apartment building owners, Verizon Communications Inc. on Thursday asked the Federal Communications Commission to stop cable providers from blocking competitors' access to regional sports programming.
