3rd Circ. Stays Injunction In Michael Foods Price Case

Law360, New York (July 10, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- As Michael Foods Inc. appeals a lower court ruling that it violated the Robinson Patman Act, a federal appellate court has stayed an injunction forcing the egg and potato product supplier to sell food under certain conditions to regional food distributor Feesers Inc.

In an order Wednesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit stayed an injunction related to a contempt finding in the case. The appellate court also expedited the appeal.
