Bill To Overturn Leegin Introduced In House

Law360, New York (July 14, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Rep. Henry Johnson, D-Ga., has introduced a bill in the U.S. House of Representatives that would reverse the U.S. Supreme Court's 2007 decision that price-fixing is not necessarily illegal, mirroring a similar bill currently making its way through the U.S. Senate.

H.R. 3190, known as the Discount Pricing Consumer Protection Act of 2009, was introduced Monday and has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee. It is co-sponsored by Rep. John Conyers, D.-Mich.
