Law360, New York (July 22, 2009, 4:33 PM ET) -- Level 3 Communications LLC has appealed a January judgment in favor of Limelight Networks Inc. in the ongoing patent dispute between the two companies related to Internet content delivery network technology.
In a notice filed with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia Tuesday, Level 3 said it had appealed the Jan. 26 final judgment, as well as a June 23 order denying Level 3’s post-judgment motions, to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
