DC Circ. Won't End Most Limits On Toxic Pesticide

Law360, New York (July 23, 2010, 7:17 PM ET) -- A federal appeals court panel on Friday upheld the complete elimination of domestic carbofuran “tolerances” — the amount of pesticide residue permitted on raw agricultural commodities and processed foods — but it also ordered the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to reinstate import carbofuran tolerances for rice, bananas, coffee and sugar cane.
