Lawn Mower Horsepower Plaintiffs Fight $65M Deal

Law360, New York (August 24, 2010, 11:49 AM ET) -- A group of unnamed plaintiffs has appealed a judge's final approval of $65 million in settlements in multidistrict litigation brought by consumers who accused 10 companies of conspiring to overstate the horsepower of lawn mower engines.

The six unnamed plaintiffs, who had previously objected to the proposed settlements, filed their notice of appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeal for the Seventh Circuit on Monday.
