Appeals Court Upholds Win For Harley In Defect Case

Law360, New York (November 10, 2010, 7:15 PM ET) -- A Washington state appeals court has upheld a jury verdict for Harley-Davidson Motor Co. Group Inc. in a product liability case alleging a defect in its motorcycle caused a crash that killed a man and injured his wife.

The Washington Court of Appeals on Tuesday rejected arguments by Karen Moore that the lower court erred by excluding her expert’s findings and by ruling that Harley-Davidson’s expert’s testimony was relevant.
